Well then I’m just about to leave for the airport to catch a flight to gorgeous Portugal. I’m heading out there with our Head of Business Development, David Benitez, to do a series of site visits ahead of our inaugural Connections Meetings event.
It all kicks off in December — 9th-12th of the month — as we invite a selected number of buyers and suppliers to the Meetings industry.
We’ve got something completely different planned. Oh yes. Totally off the wall. You see, all of the attendees will be expecting Connections Meetings to be designed. Or, to put it another way, our attendees will be expecting us to showcase the very best Meetings Design techniques at the event.
And that’s exactly what we’ll be doing.
Let me give you just a small hint of what’s happening: Delegates will be flying into Lisbon and leaving from Faro. And there are meetings on a train involved. There you go.
I’ve already typed too much! You can get a bit more of a download on this post. For now my lips are sealed. Or my keyboard is frozen!
We’re shaping up Connections Meetings to be one of the world’s most stimulating meetings-focused events. I cannot wait. Whilst I have a huge place in my heart for our Connections Luxury events focused around the luxury marketplace, I am equally thrilled about the prospect of bringing together some of the leading lights in the Meetings world.
