Hello there from Micaela!
If you represent a luxury brand, I’ve put together these 7 reasons why you should be featured at Connections Luxury on the 29th-30th of September 2014.
Hello from Central London on a gorgeous, sunny afternoon!
I’m writing today to tell you about a new supplier we’ve just added to the growing roster for Connections Luxury in September.
The supplier is Etihad – the national airline of the UAE and undoubtedly one of the planet’s finest airlines — indeed they’ve been voted the World’s Leading Airline for almost every year I can remember. From economy to First Class, the company has built a phenomenal and well deserved reputation for the delivery of a premium airline product synonymous with the finest levels of service.
When I got the call from Etihad’s Tim Lorimer, Manager, Global Sales, to say they were going to participate, I don’t mind admitting I did a series of fist pumps which raised a number of eyebrows around the Connections office! Including an airline with the reputation of Etihad was a key objective I was hoping to achieve so I’m delighted that they’re joining us in September.
I asked Tim to give us a quick few words on why they’re participating:
I’ve always adored the Four Seasons brand. My mum used to take me to the Four Seasons in Milan as a treat when I was a young girl, every month or so, and especially if I’d done well at school. I remember the unbridled yet understated opulence of the chain, the glorious food, the pressed linen napkins, the smart suited bellhops, the strong aromas from the floral bouquets in the reception.
Amadeus has signed up to be global partner for Connections, the new series of business events for the global travel industry’s senior executives.
The first event, Connections Luxury, will be held …
I’m Micaela Giacobbe-Juarez, director of commercial events for Travel Weekly Group. Our very first event, Connections Luxury, takes place over the last two days in September this year at the glorious Four Seasons in Hampshire. I simply cannot wait. As one of the team responsible for the production of some of the world’s largest travel industry exhibitions for over a decade, I have had more than my fair share of cavernous, concrete exhibition halls.
