So how do you describe the atmosphere of the Four Seasons Dogmersfield Hall in Hampshire. Peaceful, relaxed, meditative come to mind – it’s hard to believe that we’re only 35 minutes away from Heathrow. Such a location marries convenience with blissful seclusion that creates the ideal ambience to welcome our guests to the inaugural Connections. Although GM Charlie Parker is our official host, I’m sure that the real influence lies with Oliver the Black Labrador – he acts as gatekeeper to the property so for those we welcome this September I would encourage you to bring a canine treat to guarantee a true Four Seasons welcome.
The team spent a day this week to immerse ourselves in the property and ensure that all our guests will get the white glove treatment that one could expect from an episode of Downton Abbey (for those on the lookout for members of the Crawley family you’d be pleased to know that Highclere Castle is only 25 miles away).
The creative approach we have taken in Connections means that this is no ordinary conference. We are determined to create the environment for creative thought and that means an entirely different approach to anything that has gone before.
As for the agenda, well I’m delighted to confirm that award winning chef Jason Atherton (he of the Michelin Starred Pollen Street Social and other ventures in Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai – 15 in total) will join us to share his thoughts on the importance of cuisine in making your choice of vacation. He’s a great speaker and clearly passionate about his business – check out his interview with our stablemate, The Caterer
