I had a few emails and calls yesterday regarding the blog post about the camel. A few eagle eyed buyers and suppliers were wondering if I actually did ride on a camel or whether we just posed for the shot in yesterday’s blog post. Well, technically, yes, I did ride on a camel.
However as the photographic evidence above shows, I actually ended up riding a horse. Pete carried on with the camel. You see, when the team brought out such a magnificent horse to show us, I just had to change. I have a massive soft spot for horses and, although you can’t really see too much from the photo, it was wonderful.
You can see me leaning back in the saddle checking Pete was still managing ok. He loved it!
Who is up for a spot of camel or horse riding the desert at the upcoming Connections Luxury Abu Dhabi then? Bring it on!
