Building on the outstanding success of Connections Luxury Series, we are delighted to announce the launch of Connections Meetings

Later this year we are launching a new event series alongside our existing Luxury meetings portfolio. The event series will focus on the meetings, incentives, conferencing and exhibitions sector — otherwise known as ‘MICE’. We’re launching this series in response to the many requests the team received to offer a facility similar to our Luxury-focused events.

There are many similarities between the two sectors, especially when it comes to the demand for high quality service, super accommodation and extensive facilities. 

Connections Meetings well become the global, senior, exclusive, focused event featuring hand-picked MICE buyers and suppliers offering tailored memorable experiences that lead to long-lasting business relationships.

The issue of return on investment is one that many organisations struggle to evaluate, however there’s a higher theme that all business-related events must examine: What is the point? Why are you hosting the event? What do you require your attendees to learn, or do? Too often the meetings agenda is left in the hands of a stressed personal assistant and before we know it, everyone is treated to death-by-Powerpoint. This is because the meeting hasn’t been designed. 

Well, get ready! We’re going ‘all in’ with meeting design: Our Connections Meetings events will surface, showcase and actually demonstrate the very best meeting design principles. Just wait until you find out what we’ve got planned. 

We’re already very careful to plan our Connections Luxury events specifically to deliver the best value for our attendees, however we’re taking it to another level with Connections Meetings. Informed by some of the best thought-leaders and practitioners around, expect to be delighted, inspired and amazed. 

We will be bringing a wide variety of MICE buyers together for Connections Meetings. Some buyers will represent large corporates, eager to book their next international board meeting or global sales kick-offs. Others will be looking for partners to support their industry conventions or exhibitions. All will be focused on doing business in the MICE sector.

Our first Connections Meetings event takes place in December this year in Portugal at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Lisbon and the Conrad Algarve. We’ll then be visiting Quito, in the Summer of 2016 followed by Malaga, Spain in the Winter.
