When I first met Nadia Colaiuda, managing director of Italy My Way, it was clear that she was very talented.

In November, I visited La Bagnaia Golf Resort and Spa Siena, Curio Collection by Hilton, our host hotel for Connections Luxury in Italy – I was in the area at the time, as it was just before our Connections Meetings event.

And it was here that Nadia and I got to know each other better. She really quizzed me about Connections and, by the end of our chat, I could tell that she’d fully understood what we’re all about.

Straight afterwards, Nadia took part Connections Meetings in Italy – and she loved it! So, she and I met again during the event and spent time together brainstorming.

We very quickly realised that Italy My Way would be the perfect experience provider for our Connections Luxury edition in Siena.

And now, here we are! Nadia and her team at Italy My Way have created an unbelievable programme of experiences for our time in Siena. This DMC really does tailor-make trips from top-to-bottom, and their black book of contacts is incredible.

For example, through her personal connections, Nadia has managed to organise a once-in-a-lifetime closing dinner for Connections Luxury at Accademia Musicale Chigiana – a heritage building in Siena that is simply not open to the public!

It’s also thanks to Nadia that we’ll be enjoying a ConnecTed talk from charismatic wine connoisseur, Filippo Bartolotta – who was the sommelier for a dinner for the Obamas during their visit to Tuscany last year!

And there’s plenty more that Italy My Way has lined up for us…

See what I mean? We are definitely in safe hands!
