I am thrilled to announce that this week we are launching our first ever white label event – with Conrad London St. James as our launch partner.

What does this mean? Well, from November 4th-6th, Connections Luxury will take place at the iconic London hotel. There will be one full day of one-on-one meetings between travel buyers and Conrad London St. James, with the possibility of discovering news about Conrad and Waldorf properties during the event.

I’m so proud not only to be doing this with the Conrad brand, a founding member of Connections, and that the London outpost of the five-star brand will be the first luxury travel supplier to host the new white label event series. We’ve worked closely with them for past Connections events, and we’ve been extremely impressed with what Conrad has pulled out of the bag for us.

The Conrad London St. James will welcome buyers for two nights, providing accommodation, fantastic dining experiences – including contemporary British cuisine at the highly acclaimed Blue Boar restaurant – and a taster of its Stay Inspired 1/3/5 destination experiences – which struck a chord with me for obvious reasons.

The 1/3/5 philosophy mirrors the Connections Way so well, in that it focuses on providing memorable, authentic experiences based on local culture. The experiences are divided into one-hour, three-hour or five-hour itineraries, depending on how much time you have to delve into London’s arty, foodie and adventurous sides.

I’ve tried all the experiences out, and they are brilliant for a busy woman like me – the one-hour experiences are ideal for serving the Cash-Rich, Time-Poor Luxury Traveller Tribe we identified in our report with Amadeus, Shaping the Future of Luxury Travel: Future Traveller Tribes 2030.

The second dinner of the event will also be really special. Bespoke Icelandic tour operator, HL Adventure, will be supporting and speaking at the meal, and giving buyers a taste of Iceland’s luxury gourmet offering – ahead of the launch of Connections Wellness in Iceland next year.

The chef at the Conrad London St. James will be crafting some top-notch Icelandic dishes for you on Saturday night, demonstrating how expertly he can whip up authentic cuisine from anywhere in the world.

Those of you who know Jon from HL Adventure – a founding member and close friend of Connections – will know that he throws a good party! He also tells fantastic stories about his adventures, including his expeditions to the North Pole, and will be on hand to answer any questions buyers have about Iceland’s stunning luxury travel opportunities.

The event is almost fully booked, but there are still a few places available.
