For clients discerning enough to be considering visiting the stunning baroque town of Noto in Sicily, then it is well worth looking at the beautifully stylish Masseria Della Volpe. Previous visitors have described the hotel as unique, beautiful and exquisite and, with its perfect location, surrounded by lemon, orange and olive trees it is hard to find a more attractive location.

The hotel has 23 rooms, Ideal for both couples and families.  Some have lovely gardens or spacious terraces or balconies that offer “breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills and of the sea on the horizon”. All the rooms are tastefully decorated with the use of handmade Sicilian tiles and local stone, so definitely different from the usual bland décor in most hotels. For those who want to have something even more special, then the suites are delightful, with one in particular that has a private rose garden. Add to this the opportunity to book the apartment, which has three separate rooms, and you can offer the ultimate in luxury – along with a totally private experience.

The restaurant serves organic produce and the best of Sicilian food and a large selection of the best Italian and other wines from around the world. There is a small but exclusive spa, a heated outdoor pool, a children’s area, a gym, a volleyball court and synthetic grass tennis court, so there is something for all tastes.

The icing on the cake for this lovely hotel is the fact that the owners have clearly demonstrated a commitment to the environment. The hotel has been refurbished to such a high standard whilst ensuring that Sicilian building techniques were used, such as the dry stone walls to be found in bedrooms. It is certainly good to know that we don’t have to sleep in tents in the wilderness in order to be environmentally friendly. Ecological sustainability is certainly far more attractive when wrapped in the fabulous package of this superb hotel!

Masseria Della Volpe will be joining Connections Luxury for our next event at the Verdura Resort, Sicily, next month.  for further information on this, or any of our future events, please do get in touch with
