For clients discerning enough to be considering visiting the stunning baroque town of Noto in Sicily, then it is well worth looking at the beautifully stylish Masseria Della Volpe. The restaurant serves organic produce and the best of Sicilian food and a large selection of the best Italian and other wines from around the world. There is a small but exclusive spa, a heated outdoor pool, a children’s area, a gym, a volleyball court and synthetic grass tennis court, so there is something for all tastes.

The icing on the cake for this lovely hotel is the fact that the owners have clearly demonstrated a commitment to the environment. The hotel has been refurbished to such a high standard whilst ensuring that Sicilian building techniques were used, such as the dry stone walls to be found in bedrooms. It is certainly good to know that we don’t have to sleep in tents in the wilderness in order to be environmentally friendly. Ecological sustainability is certainly far more attractive when wrapped in the fabulous package of this superb hotel!
