During their time in Gstaad, Evangeline and Linda from the Connections team had the pleasure of exploring the facilities of each of the five host hotels for Connections Switzerland. 

Their first stop was the wonderful Gstaad Palace. As well as staging the opening cocktail reception for Connections Switzerland, the landmark property will provide experiences for delegates’ one-on-one meetings during the first day of the event. Evangeline and Linda enjoyed a wonderful sunset dinner on the hotel’s terrace while soaking up the mountain views – a huge thanks to Anja and the team for their hospitality!

The team then paid a visit to Le Grand Bellevue  – a boutique property that’s all about “easy-going elegance”, with a cigar lounge and a Michelin-star restaurant. They met with Tomas, who showed them around the hotel’s facilities and and its lush gardens.

Evangeline and Linda then headed to the north of the city to Ermitage Wellness and Spa hotel, where they were greeted by staff dressed in traditional costume before spending time with Wyssen and Simone from the hotel. The property has a lovely Alpine feel with some fun surprises – the walls of its One Million Stars Bar are adorned with a million Swarovski crystals.

The team then stopped by the Alpina Gstaad  – brand new five-star property with an innovative design built entirely around the guest experience, making the most of the calm created by the surrounding mountains. Evangeline and Linda met with Sylvia for a lovely lunch on the hotel’s terrace.

Last – but by no means least – the Connections team visited Ultima Gstaad, a glamorous boutique property with funky artwork and a really sleek spa. Michala from the hotel was there to meet them and show them around and talk them through its unique design concept.

Each one of the host hotels for Connections Switzerland is passionate about putting on a good show for our delegates and are ready to welcome them to Gstaad – we’re so happy to be working with them all!
