Every time this date comes around, I feel the need to pinch myself. Partly because I don’t know where the time goes! But mainly because of the staggering amount that Connections has achieved over the past 12 months. And it makes me unbelievably proud.

For each anniversary of Connections, there is a new milestone to celebrate. This time, it falls just after we’ve hosted our 20th event, Connections Switzerland, which was one of our best yet!

Our fourth anniversary also falls as we are about to launch Connections Adventure – our new event for 2018. It’s exciting to create a series dedicated to the most extraordinary travel experiences on this planet, but it also feels appropriate. This coming year will mark a new, pioneering phase of Connections – some new adventures of our own – and I cannot wait!

It’s been a year of growing fast – my superstar team has doubled in size! Each one of them: Greg, Evangeline, David, Alex, Rachel, Rose, Monika, Andrew, Vera and Brahm, rise to the challenges, plays their unique part, and puts their everything into making Connections thrive. Nothing would be possible without them.

And our international network of senior decision makers in travel continues to expand, with some fantastic new faces. Thank you to each and every one of you who has attended Connections this year. It’s thanks to our delegates that Connections goes from strength to strength – like family, I know I can turn to you for guidance and support, I appreciate it more than I can possibly say.

Speaking of which, I’m delighted to say that a Connections Advisory Board has been created. Our first ever board members have been helping me to refine plans for innovating the Connections concept, and these plans will come into play in the very near future  – so watch this space…

So, onwards! I’m proud to be driving the Connections brand forwards, and am delighted to have you all on this journey with me!
