Amadeus has signed up to be global partner for Connections, the new series of business events for the global travel industry’s senior executives.

The first event, Connections Luxury, will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hampshire in September, and will connect 60 individually invited buyers and suppliers of premium travel from around the world.

Connections was launched by the UK’s leading travel industry media company Travel Weekly Group in April, and is spearheaded by former World Travel Market head of marketing and communications Micaela Giacobbe-Juarez alongside head of sales Mark Rice.

Suppliers already lined up for Connections Luxury include Taj Hotels, Resorts & PalacesEtihad Airways, Conrad, Waldorf Astoria, Four Seasons, Dorchester Collection, Florida Keys & Key West, and Avis –Prestige and Select Services.

Supporters include the African Travel and Tourism Association (ATTA), the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) and European luxury travel agency network Traveller Made.
