Last night, I was reunited with my good friend Ewan McLeod!

Those of you who attended Connections during our first two years will remember him for his honest, though-provoking workshops on technology – such as the time he ordered a Coca Cola over Twitter mid-speech to test out the hotel’s service!

Ewan and I go way back. His digital savvy, his passion and his ability to think outside the box have always made him a fun and energetic person to work with – he’s my go-to guy when it comes to tech advice!

He was one of the people who really encouraged me to start up Connections, and who worked with me from the beginning to refine the concept.

These days, Ewan is living in Copenhagen with his wife, two boys and beautiful baby daughter, working for Nordea bank as their Chief Digital Officer.

So it was amazing to spend time with him last night while he was in London and reminisce over dinner.
