We search hard and wide for the very best luxury travel buyers to bring them to Connections Luxury. Given we’ve typically only 30 buyer spots available for every show, we have to be incredibly selective – and based on recent feedback, this is exactly what our suppliers love.
This week we’re taking a virtual trip to the party island of Ibiza, thanks to buyer Eva Klejmova, Director of J&T Concierge s.r.o. from the Czech Republic. Eva’s team serve clients from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia and Monaco.
We asked Eva to give us an example of the lengths she and her team go to in order to deliver the very past in luxury travel design services for the world’s elite. So here goes.
Over to Eva:
One of my recent bigger itineraries was a two-day event in Ibiza for a group of 12 top VIPs and their guests.
The whole programme was organized within hours.
This included private jet transfers and an exceptionally tough villa rental (e.g. Close to town, Sea view, at least 13 rooms, large swimming pool, contemporary style, tennis facilities, dedicated spa, private chef and organic local produce for breakfast.)
To make matters rather complicated, a 2 day villa rental plan doesn’t generally exist in Ibiza, so we had to rely on strong negotiation skills!
As you might imagine, the group demanded VIP tables in the Island’s top clubs — which were already completely fully booked (e.g. Venues such as Cavalli, Blue Marlin, Lio, Pasha).
In addition, my clients required a pool party to take place in the villa on the day of arrival complete with butlers and special brands of wine and spirits not widely available on the Island.
In terms of Island transport, we had to source two minivans with drivers, on-call and dedicated to our clients round the clock.
We also had to:
– Place surprise goody bags for everyone in the Villa for their arrival
– Deliver a meet-and-greet service from the airport
– Provide a dedicated 24/7 concierge on-call in the Slovakian language
– Local telephones for use on the island
– Security personnel for the group
On top of that, the client’s anticipated arrival changed three separate times!
This is just small example of the full service we provide. Expertise, connections and professional 24/7 service.
We were able to arrange the itinerary literally overnight because the client left all the decisions to my team — which we were able to do easily, because we have so much knowledge and experience of his preferences.
I’m pleased to report that the client rated the trip as one of the best in his life —in part because because it was all planned by us on the spur of the moment for him and in part because we had organised it all to perfection.

I think this is a fabulous, fabulous example of the lengths of which our buyers go to satisfy and delight their clients. It’s also a super illustration of the demands and requirements of the luxury travel segment.
