The California Luxury Forum is less than 2 weeks away! On the final day of the event, our luxury travel advisors will discover one of the world’s premier wine regions – Napa Valley.
However, Napa Valley is so much more than just a world-class wine destination (but of course we couldn’t exclude it from our list)…

2. Adventure from high above the valley in a hot air balloon
Hot air ballooning is one of the most unique and inspiring ways to appreciate the valley’s lush, rolling hills and gorgeous coastline.
All Napa Valley hot air balloons launch just after dawn when the winds are at their calmest and the temperatures are the coolest. You can join a ride with up to twenty passengers or even hire a private flight just for two.
Take a look Visit Napa Valleys directory to plan your hot air balloon getaway.
3. Unwind with massages, mud & mineral baths
At the north end of the valley, high volcanic ash content and geothermal hot springs have generated a local specialty: therapeutic and rejuvenating mud and mineral baths.
Today the town of Calistoga is filled with mud-based spas and therapies, which range from the functional and funky to the luxurious.
Their mineral waters heat the mud baths, provide natural hot springs pools (with water temperatures between 85-90 degrees), and draw crowds to watch the forceful geysers, one of which still regularly erupts from subterranean pressures.
4. Ride the Napa Valley Wine Train
The Napa Valley Wine Train takes you on a 36-mile round-trip discovery to St. Helena and back, stopping at celebrated wineries along the way.
Journey back in time as you traverse the Napa Valley to a bygone era of luxury, class, and nostalgic train travel. The Wine Train’s collection of vintage 20th century railcars have been fully restored to the splendor of their historic potential with Honduran mahogany and brass accents.
Relax as you enjoy a freshly prepared, multiple course gourmet meal and watch Napa Valley scenery leisurely pass by from your seat in our beautifully appointed railcars. The antique Train has three on board kitchens, serving each of their unique menu items fresh and cooked to order.
For the ultimate luxury experience, take already sweeping views and make them truly panoramic through the curved glass windows of the Champagne Vista Dome. You’re welcomed onboard with a glass of California sparkling wine. A precursor to the dining experience ahead.

5. Bike along the Valley
In Napa Valley, cycling is just about as popular as sipping wine
Napa Valley, with its varied terrain, beautiful scenery and mild weather, is an ideal place to bicycle for transportation and recreation. Book a fully guided bike tour or rent a bike and enjoy the stunning views of the valley at your own pace.
Outside of the cities and valley floor, the County’s mountains, valleys, and scenery provide a world-class riding experience that is challenging and rewarding for recreational cyclists.
One of the most scenic times of the year to bike is during late January to March – also known as ‘Mustard Season’. During this time Napa Valley springs to life with an explosion of wild mustard blooms, carpeting rows of vineyards with bright yellow flowers and ushering in a new growing season.
