It is an absolute pleasure to welcome the team from Gloria Hotels back to our second Connections Luxury event in March next year.
You’ll no doubt have come across the Gloria Hotels brand already — indeed from the feedback I heard at our September show, many reader will have sent clients there already.
The Gloria team has been been wowing guests with legendary Turkish hospitality since they opened their very first Golf Resort and Golf Club back in 1997. They then added two new resorts: Gloria Verde Resort and Gloria Serenity Resort, both located in the ancient Mediterranean city of Antalya, South West Turkey.
For the keen golfers (that’s definitely me!), the Gloria Golf Club should definitely be on your radar already. It offers the biggest golf course in Turkey, including 2 (that’s right, TWO!) 18-hole championship courses, and the 9-hole Verde course. Gloria’s “New” course was the site for the European Seniors Tour Classic, and in 2012, the World Amateur Team Championships. Individual and 4 day lesson packages are available at the club — something I would love to try out!
Beyond Golf, all of the Gloria resorts offer fabulous spa experiences from the tranquil Serenity Spa offering innovative treatments, the Asklepion Spa and Thalasso at Gloria Verde Resort where an impressive range of treatments will relax and re-energise you, to the renowned La Source Spa at Gloria Golf Resort.
At Gloria Resorts, Children have their own pools (that is important for guests with families!) and the Gloria Golf Resort Aquapark features eight different water slides to accommodate kids of all ages. As you might expect each Gloria Resort has a ‘kids’ club for children and teenagers offering a wide range of well-supervised activities.
The resorts offer a variety of acclaimed eating experiences from haute cuisine to relaxed snacking, and to work off any extra calories, the resorts have world-class fitness centres, as well as varied options for water sports and activities from billiards to zumba. Zumba is definitely more my thing.
All this combined with truly outstanding Turkish hospitality makes a break at one of the Gloria Hotels and resorts less a vacation, more a truly memorable experience.
