Hello there readers!
It’s Micaela here once again to tell you about another supplier we’ve recently had confirm for Connections Luxury in September. The supplier is Conrad Hotels. They’ve now got 23 properties arranged across 17 countries and territories around the world.
I’ve wanted Conrad on board for Connections Luxury ever since I sat down with Innes Dlugos, the company’s Director Luxury Sales Europe, Middle east and Africa back in Dubai a few months ago. She introduced me to Joachim Hartl, General Manager of the company’s Conrad Algarve resort which at just under 3 hours from London Heathrow sounds like the ideal place for me to take my girls and do a bit of rejuvenating in a smart luxury environment!
The phrase “smart luxury” is a key one for the Conrad team given their focus on a new generation of luxury consumers who have exceedingly high expectations both for business and pleasure. That’s why you’ll find excellent WiFi in every Conrad — so guests can even stay connected in one of the company’s Spa Water Villas at the Conrad Rangali Island Maldives as verified in person by a member of out team Ewan MacLeod who visited a few years ago.
Picking up on the increasing global trend toward real time, always-on control of one’s lifestyle, Conrad guests can now use the dedicated Conrad Concierge App to manage almost every aspect of their experience directly from their smartphone or tablet.
I can’t wait to see how the Conrad team get on at Connections Luxury. I’m confident our buyers will be very interested to learn more about the company’s destinations and services.
So, welcome to the Conrad team!
