It was brilliant to be back in Malaga! When we hosted Connections Meetings there in 2016, I discovered what a beautiful part of the world Andalucia is – the Old Town architecture in Malaga, the seascapes, the climate. Just gorgeous.

And it was also great to be reunited with so many good friends that we’ve stayed close with since then.

It’s always lovely to spend time with Renée Kachler and Susana Porras from Visit Costa Del Sol – who have attended two Connections events already this year! Renée was a great host, and made such an effort to take us to some of her favourite spots in Malaga.

It was also wonderful to connect with Francisco Quereda Rodriguez and Carmen Arjona from the Malaga Convention Bureau, Amelia Garcia Jimena from the Andalucia Tourist Board and Andrés Guerrero from Gran Hotel Miramar.

Together, we brainstormed about hosting Connections Luxury in Costa Del Sol next year, and all the possibilities.

I also really enjoyed giving my ConnecTalk! Speaking in front of an audience of regional suppliers, I spoke about my passion – achieving authenticity in events, and how my belief in creating meaningful networking experiences culminated in Connections.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our visit, and to the Connections team – David, Evangeline, Rachel, and Giovanni from ActionVideo – for your hard work during our time in Malaga.
