The second Connections Luxury event will be held on the 22nd-25th of March at the multi-award winning Conrad Algarve hotel in Portugal.

This is building on our very first Connections Luxury at the Four Seasons Hampshire which took place two months ago. The feedback from that event has been so inspiring and terrifically exciting. The emails and phone calls have been spurring us on to even greater efforts for our next event.

Connections Luxury is unlike most business networking events you’ll have attended. We strictly limit the number of attendees — just 30 luxury travel buyers and 30 luxury suppliers. We also strictly manage the seniority of the participants to ensure our delegates are always speaking to the right people.

Perhaps the biggest difference though, is how we manage the event itself. Fundamentally, our buyer and suppliers want to engage with each other in a relaxed, business environment with first-class facilities on-hand to offer seamless service. Traditionally this has meant having to walk for miles around an anonymous concrete exhibition hall.

Hosting our events at some of the best luxury properties offers a far more intimate world for our delegates to get to know each other and form lasting relationships. That’s what it’s about for us. Our buyer/supplier meetings last for 60 minutes — enough time to really explore the motivations and needs of each other in some depth.

However, we’ve not stopped there: We also offer Connections Experiences. This is the option to dispense with table-top meetings and instead take part in an activity whilst getting to know the other person. So for example, at our Hampshire event, we offered activities as diverse as fishing, falconry, walking the country grounds and even the opportunity to ride in a Ferrari! These activities enable our delegates to develop higher quality business relationships.

Next year at the Conrad Algarve, we’ll also be focusing on roundtable discussions on key topics and trends driving the luxury marketplace, offering the opportunity for education and debate. And speaking of the Conrad, what a venue we’ve chosen! I did a site visit there in the summer and can confirm it’s status as one of the best hotels in the region. Not only does it boast world class meeting facilities, it’s won countless international awards for it’s Spa. Plus, when it comes to cuisine, we won’t be left wanting!

I’d love to invite you to participate. Please give me a call or drop me an email to discuss.
