The next Connections Meetings event will take place in Quito, Ecuador, next year.
Quito Tourism announced it will sponsor the next Connections Meetings event during Connections Meetings Malaga. The destination management company will welcome MICE buyers and suppliers to Ecuador’s capital from June 18-21, 2017,
Gabriela Sommerfeld, general manager of Quito Tourism, says: “We know how successful it is for our industry to have this platform for one-to-one meetings. The results are so much better than with traditional trade shows.”
“Connection Meetings Quito attendees will experience an extremely well-developed city, and get to know one of the most biodiverse places on earth, and the first city to be declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site,” says Sommerfeld.
“By June next year, we will have our new 10,000 sqm convention centre in the middle of the city centre, and we are also building our first metro line, where one of the stops will be by the convention centre. We also have a new airport, and are working very hard on boosting Quito’s connectivity.”
