Here at Connections, we’re always thrilled to receive great feedback from our clients and industry peers, and so, we are delighted to announce that we have been nominated for the ‘Best Trade Show’ award at the International Eventex Awards 2016!
We are delighted to be a nominee in the Best Trade Show category, representing one of two UK finalists, with the other being Microsoft Future Decoded 2015, by Momentum Worldwide. This category is designed to showcase the art of demonstration, with expos and trade fairs of all themes and sizes eligible.
The Eventex Awards have grown in stature considerably over the years. Started in 2009 as a local industry event, it has now grown into a global gathering of technology solutions and event professionals. This year’s ceremony takes place this Thursday, 17th March, at the Rainbow Plaza in Sofia, Bulgaria to recognise ground breaking services in the world of events.
There are now companies represented from all over the world, from Russia and the USA to Australia and India. Notable businesses include Cinemax, Lidl, Audi, and Adobe. These companies, and many more, will fight it out for the 19 awards that are available, with other categories including ‘Best Conference’, ‘Best Event Agency’, and ‘Best Speaker’.
The award ceremony is part of a two-day event, which gives the International Eventex Awards 2016 a unique format. Over the course of the two days there will be six exclusive master classes as well as a conference with prominent experts from the international events industry. The award ceremony itself is a black tie event with a three-course menu and sparkling drinks reception.
The winners will be decided by a panel of global leaders in the industry of events and meetings. This includes the likes of Christoph Tessmar, the Director of Barcelona Convention Bureau, Nadia Makova, the founder of Global Event Forum, and Adam Parry, the editor of Event Industry News.
Whatever the result, we’re proud and happy to carry on providing a quality service that is recognised throughout the industry.
