Hello from the absolutely fabulous Dream Hotel Phuket. And hello Thailand!
Regular readers and any of our recent event attendees will know that we’ve got an event coming up in Thailand in 2016. It’s one of our Connections Luxury events and it’s due to take place at the Dream Hotel Phuket between 19th-22nd June.
Regular readers will also note that I do like to make sure that I’ve been on-site ahead of time to check-out the facilities of our host hotel, to organise the draft agenda and to sample some of the activities that will form our Connections Experiences.
Well, dear reader, standby to be blown-away. If you’re coming out to Thailand with us in June, you’ll have a phenomenal time. Take it from me. I’m writing this from the hotel!
For a moment I thought I’d have to spend the entire time here in my jeans as my luggage got delayed in Kuala Lumpur — probably because of the rather short transfer time — I almost had to run across the airport to make the connecting flight. I’m pleased to report that the suitcase arrived about 7 hours after I did though. So all was good.
Not that I was really bothered. I was too busy taking in the facilities of the Dream Hotel Phuket. It’s a five star luxury beach club favoured by the in-crowds. That much is obvious when you walk around the resort. I can’t wait to try out all the facilities and to test some of the activities. Standby for news and watch out for my next update here on the blog.
