Our luxury travel buyers were keen to catch up with the team from The Lanesborough at our last Connections Luxury event.
We were all keen to find out how the renovations were going as the hotel is currently closed. The building work is extensive as the hotel is being more or less recreated by the world renowned Alberto Pinto studio.
Recognised as one London’s finest architectural landmarks, overlooking Hyde Park and just moments from Buckingham Palace, the hotel is exceptionally well placed.
So when it opens, I’m sure it will jump straight to the top of the list of London’s best luxury hotels — which is no doubt why our buyers are keen to stay informed. Some were telling me that a few nights in The Lanesborough will be an ideal way to top or tail the international vacations of some of their high-flying UK luxury clients. Especially since the hotel will be offering an all new experience.
The Lanesborough is now managed by the Oetker Collection and joins other Masterpiece hotels like the Eden Rock (St Barths), Le Bristol Paris and L’Apogee Courchevel.
If you’d like to join The Lanesborough at our next Connections Luxury (22nd-25th March) at the Conrad Algarve, please drop me a note to discuss: micaela@travelweekly.co.uk.
