I took a quick flight from London Gatwick earlier today and I’ve just arrived in my wonderful suite at the Conrad Algarve. Regular readers will recall that I visited a good few months ago for the first time. It took me about five minutes to decide that — yes — we most definitely had to host a Connections Luxury event there.

This time, I’m on-site to discuss and review the specifics — and most importantly, decide the type of activities that we will include as  Connections Experiences for the event.

These experiences are so important for the delegates to help immediately break the ice and begin creating valuable business relationships. The science bit — from an event organising standpoint — is selecting the right activities.

I’ve been talking with the team at the Conrad non-stop to arrange a packed itinerary of activities over the next few days so stay tuned if you’d like some previews.

I’d like to say a quick hello to the team from VIPchauffeurs Algarve — I was picked up at Faro Airport in one of their superb black S-Class Mercedes and whisked in what felt like one seamless action to the reception of the Conrad. This is absolutely the experience I want all of our delegates to receive. Fantastic.

I’ll be writing more shortly. For now, I have to go and rest because tomorrow is going to be hectic!
